Afternoon Blues

    Afternoon chores are done and supper is just around the corner in the kitchen. This is my old neighbors handmade wheelbarrow seen as the light streams in from an open barn door. Before communities encroached on his farming town, Andy farmed over a thousand acres in the Kimblesville-Landenberg area. Andy’s farm has inspired several of my paintings including another of my favorite works “Waiting Too!.”
