     Early in the spring along the Brandywine river Spring beauties and Virginia bluebells are the first flowers to bloom. Walker’s mill stands as it has for years guarding the lower Brandywine just south of The Dupont Powder Mills at Hagley. Once a booming textile area, the lower Brandywine now contains many vistas that this artist loves to capture using his brush and his eyes.
